With over 20 years in the dental sector, Trevor Matewu has grown from a trainee dental nurse to Head of Operations at Surrey Orthodontics, a journey that has shaped both his people-first leadership style and his practical understanding of frontline care.

He is committed to leading services that are safe, compassionate, and fair, underpinned by integrity and teamwork. Trevor works closely with team leaders across Godalming, Farnham, and Cranleigh to ensure patients receive consistent, high-quality orthodontic care, while also meeting CQC, NHS, and data protection standards.

Colleagues describe Trevor as a fair and supportive mentor. He believes in listening, building trust, and helping teams do their best work, because when the team feels supported, patients benefit too.

What motivates Trevor most is knowing he plays a part in helping people smile—not just through the outcomes of orthodontic care, but through the culture created behind the scenes.
